The Tony Hotel South Beach is searching for a professional and experienced Server | Bartender for our beautiful property on South Beach.


The Server | Bartender plays a pivotal role in creating an exceptional dining experience by delivering warm, attentive service with a welcoming personality. This position requires a deep knowledge of our menu and ingredients, ensuring guests receive expert recommendations and impeccable service. 


With a keen eye for detail and a sharp mind, the Server | Bartender consistently delivers accuracy, efficiency, and a memorable guest experience from the first order.

Compensation:
 

$13.00 / an hour, plus tips & gratuities

 

Server|Bartender Essential Functions:

  • A solid understanding of cocktail and wine service ensures an exceptional guest experience. 
  • Set up and break down tables, serving stations, and buffet displays, including arranging breakfast settings and table linens. 
  • Understand food preparation processes and maintain familiarity with standard and signature menu items, including their ingredients.
  • Complete essential side work such as preparing garnishes, stocking cold stations with cream and butter, and maintaining condiments and linens.
  •  Accurately operate computerized systems to record orders, process transactions, and manage ticketing precisely.
  •  Receive, serve, and ensure timely delivery of meal orders while providing an engaging dining experience.
  •  Identify and report any unsafe conditions immediately to maintain a secure work environment.
  •  Greet, seat, and assist guests to enhance their overall experience.
  •  Keep service areas fully stocked with essential items such as glassware, silverware, and linens.
  • Step in as a Busser or Runner when necessary to ensure seamless service.
  •  Attend mandatory meetings and participate in cross-training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  •  Ensure all workspaces remain tidy and orderly for efficiency and professionalism.
  •  Support the team by taking on various responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements

  

· Food Safety Certification.

· Safe Alcohol Vendor Certification.

· Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.

· Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction.

· 6 months to 1-year previous experience preferred.

· Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
