Description
The dishwasher will ensure that wares for the kitchen are clean and sanitized
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Washing of all wares including pots, pans, cooking tools, and other culinary items by hand or with dishwasher
- Correctly placing and storing items in home locations
- Clean trash receptacles
- Help clean facility by mopping, wiping down tables, cleaning equipment and any other tasks
- Help put deliveries away
- May assist in cleaning and preparing various foods for cooking and/or serving, as directed
- Ensures work areas remain safe, clean and orderly, adhering to all company, local and state guidelines
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements
Required Skills:
- Ability to understand and follow directions
- Ability to remain focused in an environment that is noisy and fast-paced
- Ability to work effectively with kitchen staff
- Detail-oriented and thorough
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of walking and standing
- Must be able to life, carry and place up to 50 pounds at one time
- Must be able to work days, nights and weekends and holidays as needed
- Must be able to bend, stoop and wipe frequently
- Must frequently immerse hands in water
- Must be able to work in a hot and damp environment
