Caladwich Consulting is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to the support the operation and management of the loading docks on the NIH main campus, located in Bethesda, Maryland. The Warehouse Specialist will be directly responsible for all loading dock material management related services including the confirmation of all shipping documentation at each of these loading docks.


Daily Hours of Operation are 6:00am - 6:00 pm Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays.


Core Responsibilities- SM Expertise in the following fields: 

• Manage and track approximately 42 AMAL/ADAL sets across multiple locations using seven vendor accounts.

• Conduct cyclic inventory of Class VIII medical supplies, ensuring that critical items are replenished above 90%.

• Assist with procurement and inventory management of medical supplies for over 4,600 personnel.

• Inspect, receive, and validate supply deliveries, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation using forms like DD-1149.

• Organize and maintain medical warehouse stocks, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines.

• Research inbound packages with incorrect or incomplete addresses to determine the customer, and not accept if unidentifiable.

• Verify contents of shipping against shipping documentation by inspection of the label data and piece count. The Contractor shall not open the packaging of shipments.

• Utilize NTCSS Relational Supply (R-supply) and other software for supply tracking and inventory validation.


Requirements

Qualifications / Required Experience:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical logistics or supply technician roles, with at least 1 year in military medical supply.

• Experience with Federal Agencies: Prior experience supporting federal or military medical supply programs, particularly in logistics roles, is preferred.

• Warehouse and Inventory Management: Technical proficiency in inventory systems and warehouse operations.

• Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills to coordinate with logistics teams and present status updates to government representatives.

• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot logistical or supply chain issues and propose actionable solutions.

• Familiarity with Naval Tactical Command Support System (NTCSS) R-supply and related inventory management systems.


Requirements for Candidate:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (minimum).

• Additional training or certifications in supply management or logistics preferred.

• Forklift Operation: Must be eligible to operate forklifts and government vehicles.

• Background: Must pass security clearance checks due to the nature of the work.
