Position Responsibilities

As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in helping patients achieve greater independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities include:

Conducting comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations
Developing individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
Providing skilled occupational therapy services to improve function and independence
Addressing activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, safety awareness, and adaptive equipment needs
Collaborating with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, residents, and family members
Maintaining accurate documentation, billing, and discharge planning
Educating patients, caregivers, and staff to support positive outcomes

Qualifications

Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Active Occupational Therapist license in the State of Michigan
Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
Commitment to patient-centered care
