ACD, Art Director 

MikeWorldWide is seeking an ACD Art Director to help bring creative excellence to one of the agency’s biggest accounts as well as bring creative magic to some of our other accounts, workflows and opportunities. This hands-on role is equal parts design leader, conceptual thinker and client whisperer. You’ll manage multiple creative briefs at a time, partnering with copywriters and leading designers from kickoff to completion. Which is to say, you’ll need to be as organized, collaborative and proactive as you are creative. While we are primarily an earned-first agency, this role will require experience developing brand campaign creative, while still understanding how earned media works. 

What you’ll do 

? Partner with internal stakeholders (creative director, account director, project manager, etc) to manage multiple creative briefs and day-to-day client needs. 

? Ideate, develop, execute and manage integrated ad/marketing campaigns and creative. 

? Lead and collaborate with designers on the development and execution of cross-channel ad/marketing assets. 

? Immerse yourself in brand and category landscape and nuances. 

? Turn complex brand and category information into clear, clean, and compelling campaign creative. 

? Be able to take the lead on creative thinking on client meetings and presentations. 

? Leverage AI to generate visuals that bring creative concepts to life. 

? Stay updated with the latest industry trends, bringing fresh perspectives and ideas to the table. 

? Bring smart, innovative thinking and a collaborative spirit to teams when developing work. 


Requirements

 

Requirements 

? At least 7 years of agency experience in an art direction role, with experience in campaign development and brand marketing. 

? Experience working on integrated campaigns – TV, digital, content, social, OOH, etc 

? Solid skills in design software (especially Adobe Creative Suite and Powerpoint) and generative AI. 

? Confidence and comfortability interacting with – and presenting to – clients. 

? A solid portfolio featuring smart, innovative creative work. 

? A collaborative spirit that helps you work seamlessly with cross-functional teams. 

? Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 

? Experience articulating your creative thinking and rationale to internal and external audiences. 

? Professional and personal curiosity and interest in what moves popular culture. 

? An obvious passion for design trends and innovative storytelling. 

? Advertising experience is a must, PR/earned media experience is a big plus.
