What You'll Do:

  • Transport Feed: Safely and efficiently deliver feed to various locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Load and Unload: Assist with loading and unloading feed, ensuring proper handling and storage.
  • Maintain Equipment: Perform routine checks and maintenance on the truck to ensure it is in top condition.
  • Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with our clients.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: Previous experience in truck driving is preferred but not required. We provide on-the-job training!
  • Skills: Strong driving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
  • License: A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required OR the ability to obtain one within 60 days.

Bulk Feed Truck Driver

Position Summary
Safely deliver bulk feed and related products to customers while providing exceptional service and supporting efficient feed operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver bulk feed and other products to customer locations.
  • Transport inventory between locations and suppliers.
  • Load, unload, and verify products for accurate delivery.
  • Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
  • Complete required delivery and trip documentation.
  • Maintain positive customer relationships and communicate customer concerns or opportunities to management.
  • Follow all company, DOT, OSHA, FDA, and safety requirements.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Class A CDL or ability to obtain required certification.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work extended seasonal hours.
  • Ability to climb heights, lift up to 50 pounds, and sit for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe operations.
