Paint Technician
Description


As part of the Open Road Collision group DBA Drury Moss, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality collision repair services with exceptional customer care. We are looking for a skilled Paint Technician to work on vehicles in a fast-paced auto body shop environment. As a Collision Paint Technician, you'll perform vehicle refinishing as assigned in accordance with manufacturer and industry standards. 


Position Duties:

  • Works and communicates with others on vehicle repair and status
  • Performs quality refinishing while keeping on-time status in mind
  • Performing work as outlined on repair orders
  • Operating all equipment in the paint department in a safe and productive manner
  • Following Safety Standards for the use of personal protective equipment (e.g., safety glasses, gloves, respirator) while working in the paint department
  • Inspecting all work performed as a Quality Control (QC) measure as soon as jobs are completed
  • Mixing all chemicals according to manufacturer directions/specifications
Requirements
  • I-CAR Certification preferred (will help obtain if you do not)
  • Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer (OEM Certified Preferred)
  • Must be able to operate a vehicle legally
  • Genuine interest in providing an exceptional customer experience
  • Friendliness, enthusiasm, reliability, with a positive "team-player" attitude
  • Strong work-ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
  • Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment
