Position Overview:
We’re seeking a Senior Manager to join our growing Business Valuation & Dispute Advisory practice. This role offers the opportunity to lead complex, high-visibility engagements supporting business owners, executives, and legal teams in critical financial decisions. As part of a dynamic and expanding area of the firm, you’ll have the ability to shape engagements, mentor staff, and play a key role in the continued growth of our valuation and dispute-related services.
What You'll Do:
- Lead business valuations, including enterprise, equity, ASC 805/820, intellectual property, and stock option analyses
- Conduct forensic accounting investigations, economic damage calculations, and dispute consulting
- Prepare client-ready deliverables, including valuation reports, quality-of-earnings reports, and financial schedules
- Support litigation engagements, including expert-witness preparation and testimony support
- Manage engagement teams, oversee workflow, and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables
- Mentor and develop junior staff while managing billable expectations and project timelines
- Maintain professional credentials and continuing education requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in business valuation, forensic accounting, dispute consulting, audit/assurance, or investigations
- Public accounting or consulting background preferred
- Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting timelines
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- High level of professionalism, judgment, and discretion
Preferred Qualifications:
- 7–10 years building and reviewing valuation models (income, market, and asset approaches)
- Experience in forensic investigations, fair value accounting, and litigation support
- CPA, ABV, CFA, ASA, CFF, CFE, MAFF, or CVA credentials
- Experience leading teams and managing client relationships
