Candidate would be a member of the CUBRC Aerosciences group involved with high-speed wind tunnel testing and have demonstrated proficiency as an electrician. Primary responsibilities would include installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems that support wind tunnel operations. This will generally involve both low voltage (e.g. instrumentation) and high voltage systems. Candidate should be able to interpret blueprints and electrical schematics and make updates as directed. 

Minimum Qualifications:  

• High school diploma or GED
• Trade school certificate, degree, or relevant apprenticeship program or work experience
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to maintain clean and organized work area
• Commitment to follow all safety and operating procedures to ensure a safe work environment 
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
• Candidate must be prepared to occasionally work extended hours. 

Preferred Qualifications:  

• 5 years or equivalent of relevant work experience 

Special Requirements: 

• Must be able to obtain and remain eligible for a US Department of Defense security clearance.
