We’re seeking a Transitional Age Youth Specialist for our MIKID TAY Program, which supports youth aged 13 to 25, especially those in foster care, DDD, and Title 19 programs. This role involves providing one-on-one support, helping with essential life skills like budgeting and job readiness, collaborating with community partners, conducting assessments, and leading workshops.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of experience with youth, and knowledge of child welfare or developmental disabilities services. Strong communication, organizational skills, and a compassionate, team-oriented approach are essential. Preference is given to candidates with prior experience in the behavioral health field and those who demonstrate bilingualism. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, a current Arizona Fingerprint Clearance, a valid Arizona Driver’s License, and business-use vehicle insurance are required.
