Job Summary

The Housekeeping Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, and overall comfort of guest rooms and assigned public areas. This role plays a key part in creating a welcoming and positive guest experience by ensuring rooms meet brand and hotel cleanliness standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and service assigned guest rooms daily, including making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms
     
  • Replenish guest room supplies such as toiletries, towels, and amenities
     
  • Inspect rooms for cleanliness, maintenance issues, and safety concerns; report any issues promptly
     
  • Follow established cleaning procedures and brand standards consistently
     
  • Handle guest requests and interactions in a professional, friendly, and timely manner
     
  • Maintain housekeeping carts and ensure supplies are stocked and organized
     
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures
     
  • Protect guest privacy and confidentiality at all times
     
  • Assist with laundry or public area cleaning as needed
     

Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous housekeeping or hotel experience preferred but not required
     
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
     
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in cleanliness
     
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25–30 lbs throughout the shift
     
  • Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
     
  • Positive attitude and commitment to guest satisfaction
