Baby Fox Academy is looking for an AWESOME Preschool Teacher for our Lakewood Ranch facility! We specialize in play-based, developmentally appropriate learning. Our kiddos spend the day playing and having fun. We are looking for long-term facilitators & extenders of play (staff) that will enjoy teaching through play. We look for:

-Experience working in a preschool environment (REQUIRED)

-CDA/FCCPC and/or degree in ECE or related field AND Staff Credential (Preferred)

-45 hours of Early Childhood Training (REQUIRED)

-CPR Certification (preferred)

-High School Diploma/GED (REQUIRED)

-Must pass a background check (REQUIRED)

Responsibilities
- Create & implement lesson plans, with co-teacher, that align with the curriculum, educational goals and developmental milestones for preschool-aged children.
- Create a safe and nurturing classroom environment that promotes learning and development.
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to ensure a positive and engaging learning experience.
- Provide individualized attention and support to students to meet their academic and social needs.
- Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to share student progress and address any concerns.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the overall educational program.
- Stay up-to-date on best practices in early childhood education and incorporate them into daily teaching strategies.
- Foster a love for learning through creative and interactive teaching methods.
- Monitor and assess student progress to adjust teaching strategies as needed.
- Participate in professional development opportunities, both on their own and as a team, to enhance teaching skills and knowledge in the field of early childhood education.
