Job Responsibilities (List is not inclusive)
· Startup and test equipment on commercial and industrial facilities.
· Installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems and equipment.
· Log all startup information and service work orders into the company-provided iPad.
· Meet equipment startup deadlines and inform the Service Manager of any issues.
· Maintain inventory and cleanliness of the company-provided vehicle.
· Follow all safety rules and procedures of Corvant and General Contractors.
· Cleaning, adjusting, and maintaining HVAC systems.
· Provide technical direction and on-the-job training to customers.
· Must be able to work after hours and weekends on short notice.
· Must demonstrate proficiency and knowledge of air duct distribution systems, commercial and industrial.
· Know relevant building codes, current legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures for the installation and maintenance of systems.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Working knowledge of HVAC equipment function and operations.
· Ability to properly braze copper refrigerant piping.
· Proficient in reading schematics and mechanical prints.
· Air duct distribution systems in commercial and industrial.
· Relevant policies and procedures of installation and maintenance.
· Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults on HVAC systems.
· Ability to safely work at elevations such as roofs, scissor lifts, and ladders.
· Excellent written, verbal, and listening interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work cooperatively with other trades.
· Time management skills.
· Familiar with Building Automation Systems.
Education and Experience
· High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
· OSHA 10 Certification required.
· EPA certified.
· Must have ten or more years of experience.
Physical Requirements
· Required to stand, walk, and sit.
· Talk or hear, both in person and by telephone.
· Use hand (s) and fingers to handle or feel objects or controls.
· Reach with hand (s) and arm (s).
· Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds.
