Key Responsibilities

  • Access Control: Check tickets, credentials, and passes at entrances and restricted areas.
     
  • Crowd Management: Monitor crowd behavior and prevent overcrowding or unsafe situations.
     
  • Patrolling: Walk through event areas to detect suspicious activity or safety hazards.
     
  • Incident Response: Handle disturbances, fights, or emergencies calmly and professionally.
     
  • Emergency Procedures: Assist with evacuations, medical emergencies, or fire incidents.
     
  • Conflict Resolution: De-escalate confrontations between attendees.
     
  • Reporting: Write detailed incident and activity reports.
     
  • Coordination: Communicate with event staff, law enforcement, and medical teams when necessary.
Requirements

 

Qualifications


Meet minimum age mandated by Arkansas State Police of 21 years old

  • High school diploma or equivalent (often required)
     
  • Security guard license if applicable (varies by state)
     
  • Background check clearance if applicable
     
  • First aid/CPR certification if applicable
