What You'll Do:
- Deliver PCA training in accordance with NYSDOH regulations and agency standards in locations such as Binghamton, Corning, Elmira with potential for occasional travel to other southern tier areas such as Hornell.
- Conduct clinical competency evaluations, field visits (Broome County), and on-site observations
- Lead continuing education and in-service programs
- Mentor and support personal care aides
- Complete onsite employee evaluations in the field
- Manage LMS systems, attendance tracking, and training documentation
- Participate in CQI initiatives, audits, and quality improvement efforts
- Provide intermittent home visits
- Collaborate across departments to resolve classroom and staffing issues
- Contribute to curriculum updates and regulatory compliance
- Participate in on-call rotation
- Collaborating with training, workforce, and community partners to ensure grant deliverables are met
- Travel required

What You'll Bring:
- NYS Licensed and currently registered as a Registered Professional Nurse.
- A graduate of an accredited nursing school holding a Diploma, Bachelor's, or Master's Degree.
- Two years experience as a registered nurse.
- A comprehensive understanding of the roles and responsibilities within both professional and paraprofessional healthcare practices.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate effectively with customers, patients, or agency employees.
- Ability to perform mathematical operations related to medication calculations, American money, weight measurement, volume, and distance.
- Strong organizational writing skills, effective communication abilities, and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to address problems involving multiple variables in standardized situations. Ability to solve practical problems and manage various concrete variables in situations with limited standardization. Ability to interpret written, oral, diagrammatic, or scheduled instructions.
