Weekend Shift

5:00am-5:00pm Saturday through Monday

We are seeking dependable Production Employees to join our manufacturing team. This role offers hands-on training, a strong safety culture, and opportunities for career advancement. Employees who demonstrate strong performance may apply for internal training programs, such as the Press Operations Training Program, after 90 days of employment.


 Pay and Benefits

Pay: $21.55-$26.65/hour with a 12% shift differential added to the base pay when working weekend shift hours.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Reading information from job tickets, acquire needed materials, load equipment with product and print files.
  • Perform routine maintenance on schedule and according to procedure to promote machine stability and dependability.
  • Monitor stock within production area and initiate timely requests for replenishment.
  • Monitor the printing process to maintain print quality.
  • Understand the machine capabilities to achieve optimum print quality.
  • Ensures that the job is set up properly.
  • Accountable to calibrate the digital press at a minimum at the beginning of each shift or in-between jobs.
  • Responsible for (daily or weekly) care and maintenance of equipment as directed or provided by the equipment manufacturer.
  • Assists in training individuals and other team members as assigned.
  • Complies with established safety procedures and policies.
  • Works with other departments and maintenance personnel on projects and/or validations.
  • Focuses on Continuous Improvement, Quality, Improved Cycle Times, Safety, Cost Reductions, and Customer Satisfaction.
  • Complies with company policies, procedures, and core processes.
  • Performs other job duties as assigned
Requirements

  

  • Strong math skills and understanding of metric and standard measurements/ conversions.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of following standard work instructions.
  • Ability to learn quickly and  adopt new technologies in a fast-paced environment.
  • Operate safely and efficiently while producing high quality work.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively with a team.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1 year of printing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Previous experience operating and HP press is preferred. 


Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions

  • Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, dirt, and chemicals; OSHA safety standards enforced.
  • Prolonged standing, walking, and repetitive tasks requiring bending, reaching, and stooping.
  • Ability to operate equipment and visually inspect product.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 20 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally.

Work Authorization

Must be eligible to work in the United States without restriction.
