Mackin Educational Resources is a well-established, highly respected provider of PK-12 grade fiction and non-fiction books, located in the South Metro. Our Book Packing / Shipping department has immediate openings for seasonal help this Spring and Summer.
 

Responsibilities 

• Assemble containers and crates, use proper packing methods to pack goods to be shipped, and attach packing slips
• Prepare shipping documents using various computer software
• Maintain safe working conditions and keep work areas clean
• May be required to operate pallet jack and related stockroom machinery

• Ability to read, comprehend and follow written and oral instructions with strong attention to detail
• Ability to organize and pack materials along with checking documents for accuracy
• Ability to stand and walk throughout entire shift
• Must be able to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
• Must have the physical strength and stamina to lift and move goods repeatedly
• Ability to lift 30-50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
• Ability to cross train in other areas/departments as needed
• Previous FedEx and UPS experience a plus

Schedule Options

• 4 - 8 hours per day, 3 - 5 days per week, Monday - Friday
• Shifts may start as early as 7am and end no later than 4pm
• Opportunity for optional additional hours and Saturdays

Wages

• $17.00 per hour
