United Way Miami, Inc. is hiring a Specialist, Implementation Coach to join our team. As a Specialist, Implementation Coach, you will schedule, coordinate, and facilitate embedded professional development opportunities to support the transfer of knowledge to practice for the participating CAIT administrators and educators in the Miami-Dade area in accordance with The Children’s Trust grant deliverables.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  •  Design, coordinate, and facilitate embedded professional development aligned with the Teaching Strategies GOLD framework, including hybrid learning opportunities, cohort-based trainings, Communities of Practice, learning groups, and other collaborative professional learning experiences for educators and administrators. 
  • Provide implementation coaching and technical assistance to early childhood educators, administrators, and program leaders using adult learning principles and strength-based coaching strategies that promote reflective practice, instructional improvement, and continuous professional growth. 
  • Partner with site directors and leadership teams to support the effective implementation of Teaching Strategies GOLD and related instructional practices, aligning coaching, professional development, and program goals to strengthen instructional leadership and program quality. 
  • Support educators and administrators in using formative child assessment data, classroom observations, and program documentation to inform lesson planning, individualized instruction, and program-level decision making. 
  • Collect, review, and analyze classroom documentation, child portfolio evidence, and educator implementation data to identify trends and inform coaching priorities, professional development planning, and continuous quality improvement efforts across participating programs. 
  • Conduct classroom observations and review instructional practices to strengthen educators’ use of observation-based assessment, reflective teaching practices, and intentional instructional planning. 
  • Facilitate engaging virtual and in-person professional learning experiences using interactive technology platforms and support participating programs in effectively utilizing digital tools related to assessment, professional development, and communication (including Teaching Strategies GOLD and related systems). 
  • Collaborate with the CAIT team and community partners to identify emerging program needs and design responsive coaching strategies, professional learning opportunities, and implementation supports. 
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services and program progress through required monitoring systems, including the WELS Activity Log, educator and administrator progression tracking, child portfolio documentation, and professional learning participation records.
  • Participate in program progress meetings, reflective supervision, evaluation activities, and special projects, and provide regular updates to the Program Director regarding program implementation progress, educator development, and assessment fidelity. 
Requirements

Education Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and/or experience in a related field. Master’s degree preferred.  

Experience Requirements: Three to five years’ experience in Early Education. Comprehensive knowledge of Teaching Strategies GOLD-SmartTeach®. Proficient in Data utilization 


Technology Requirements:  Advanced Outlook, intermediate Microsoft Office suite, and Google Sheets. Zoom and Microsoft Teams. Knowledge of modern web browsers. 


Other Essential Knowledge/Skills: Must be detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Strong customer service skills required. Ability to function in a team environment. Bilingual in English and Spanish.
