Facility Manager
Description

Valor Oil is seeking a responsible, motivated Facility Manager for the Florence, KY location.  A Facility Manager oversees the daily operations, maintenance, security, and safety of commercial buildings, grounds, and infrastructure to ensure a safe, efficient, and productive environment. 


Pay: $65,000 - $75,000 annual salary

Location: Florence, KY

Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 5:00 pm

Start date: Immediately

  • Operations & Facility Management: Oversee daily plant operations for Florence and Maysville, including warehouse organization, packaging, maintenance of grounds, and managing outside contractors to ensure facility orderliness.
  • Inventory & Supply Chain: Manage fuel and lubricant inventory levels to meet customer needs and "days on hand" metrics; lead monthly physical inventories, ensure accuracy, and coordinate with Supply/Logistics on supplier options.
  • Compliance & Safety: Direct all OSHA, DOT, and environmental (SPCC/ELD) compliance; perform safety training, maintain equipment standards (Samsara), and oversee oil-water separator monitoring and documentation.
  • Team Leadership & Personnel: Maintain proper staffing levels, conduct weekly performance/KPI meetings, and assist in training drivers on new technology, including performing random ride-alongs to ensure service quality.
  • Logistics & Customer Relations: Dispatch C&I and Race fuel deliveries, partner with the Sales team to meet customer requirements, and ensure accurate freight billing and timely reporting of activities.
  • Financial & Administrative Oversight: Conduct monthly financial reviews with senior management, manage specialty purchasing (tires, parts, etc.), and attend weekly leadership meetings to report on facility performance.
Requirements
  • Willing to acquire a minimum of a Class B CDL with Hazmat and Tank endorsement
  • Previous maintenance/facility experience preferred
  • Physical ability to handle 50 lbs or more 
  • Some overnight travel
  • Some off shift work required
  • Mechanical or general maintenance knowledge
  • Basic computer skills
