Job Title: Production Supervisor / Drying Supervisor
Location: Pendleton, IN
Schedule: Full-Time | Hourly
Schedule may include rotating shifts, early mornings, evenings, weekends, or overtime as needed
2nd shift / Monday – Friday 4:00 PM – 4:00 AM (8 hours onsite and the remaining 4 hours can be remote)
Pay: $27-30 /hourly

What You'll Do: As a Drying Supervisor, you will lead the daily operations of drying and powder processing while overseeing a team of Drying Technicians. This role is responsible for ensuring production runs safely, efficiently, and consistently while maintaining high standards for quality and compliance.
This role offers a clear path for growth into broader plant leadership opportunities, including progression to Assistant Plant Manager for high-performing team members.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be actively involved in both supervising the team and supporting operations on the floor.
Key responsibilities include:
· Lead, schedule, and support a team of Drying Technicians to meet daily production goals
· Oversee operation of drying equipment, including dryers, evaporators, and associated systems
· Monitor control panels and PLC systems to maintain optimal processing conditions
· Coordinate workflow to ensure all materials from the Processing team are dried efficiently and on schedule
· Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform or coordinate basic repairs to minimize downtime
· Conduct routine inspections and support preventative maintenance activities
· Ensure all operations follow cGMPs, safety standards, and company policies
· Train and develop team members on equipment operation, safety procedures, and troubleshooting
· Maintain accurate production reports, including output, downtime, and quality checks
· Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety
· Respond quickly to operational issues, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns
· Prepare materials for shipment, including sampling, inventory, and labeling
What We're Looking For:
· 1–3 years of experience in machine operation, drying processes, or industrial equipment environments
· Previous leadership or supervisory experience required
· Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
· Basic mechanical aptitude and experience with industrial control systems (PLC preferred)
· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex processes
· Solid communication, documentation, and organizational skills
· Strong understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment
· Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including heat, noise, and dust
· Ability and willingness to use chemicals while wearing required PPE
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly (with heavier loads assisted)
· Willingness to work flexible or rotating schedules as needed

Work Environment: This role is performed in a production facility and may involve:
· Operating and overseeing industrial drying and processing equipment
· Standing, walking, and moving throughout extended shifts (10–12 hours)
· Lifting, pushing, or pulling materials up to 50 pounds
· Working in a non-climate-controlled environment with heat, noise, dust, and odors
· Climbing stairs or ladders and accessing elevated work areas
· Wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE), including hearing protection, safety glasses, gloves, and other gear as needed
