Grain Operations Lead


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Grain Operations Lead to join our team at our Burlington, WI location. This pivotal role involves overseeing and coordinating the operational workflows for grain handling and processing, ensuring that all activities are executed with precision, efficiency, and compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities:

- Organize and oversee daily workflow within grain operations to ensure smooth and efficient processes

- Coordinate activities across various units or support multiple areas as needed, adapting to business demands

- Ensure all operational tasks are completed accurately, timely, and in compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements

- Monitor and maintain safety protocols, promoting a safe work environment for all team members

- Uphold quality standards in grain handling, storage, and processing activities

- Lead, motivate, and support team members to achieve operational goals and uphold company values

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and safety

- Maintain accurate records of operational activities, inventory, and compliance documentation

- Collaborate with management to develop and execute operational strategies and initiatives

- Ensure proper maintenance and operation of equipment and facilities to minimize downtime and maximize productivity


Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience in grain operations, logistics, or a related agricultural field

- Strong leadership and team management skills

- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities

- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in grain handling and storage

- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure

- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety standards

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or agricultural training preferred
