Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service at the sales counter, ensuring every customer feels valued and supported
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, vendors, and internal team members
  • Assist customers with product selection, order placement, and service inquiries
  • Exhibit strong product knowledge and the ability to offer alternative solutions when needed
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Resolve customer issues with patience, empathy, and problem-solving skills
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming service counter environment
  • Support warehouse or branch operations as needed to ensure a seamless customer experience

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in counter sales, customer service, or a related role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer and point-of-sale system skills
  • Knowledge of building materials or gutter systems is a plus (but not required)
  • Reliable, responsible, and committed to outstanding service
Requirements
  • High School Degree or GED
  • Prior administrative experience required
  • Forklift Experience a plus
  • Prior experience with inventory and cycle counts
  • 18 Years of age or older
  • Strong Computer Skills
  • Customer service experience
  • Ability to adapt
  • Microsoft Office experience preferred
