SUMMARY:  


The Director of Residential Services oversees substance use disorder (SUD) programs in Santa Fe, New Mexico, including both the 30-day residential facility and the extended care program, and collaborates closely with the Project Director of Women and Children’s Services. 


This role is responsible for managing daily operations while fostering a continuous learning environment that emphasizes cultural proficiency. Key responsibilities also include recruiting, developing, and retaining a high-quality team, as well as building and maintaining strong relationships with community partners and contractors. 

Requirements

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Responsible for operations at Four Corners Detox Recovery in Gallup including but not limited to; client grievances, milieu support, staff and client resources support, leading facility tours, etc.  
  • Responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining community relationships through strategic partnerships and outreach efforts.  
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations of all substance use disorder service lines in a person-centered, best practice-focused environment consistent with ASAM criteria 
  • Assign, Track, and evaluate the work of staff assigned, this will also include coaching and administering corrective action when appropriate.  
  • Knowledge of and ability to utilize evidence-based practices and clinical practice guidelines appropriately and ability to guide staff in using these tools. 
  • Ability to deal effectively with individuals or groups representing widely divergent backgrounds, interests, and points of view. 
  • Skill in managing and directing the work of others to accomplish program goals and objectives. 
  • Ability to translate management goals and objectives into well-coordinated and controlled work operations. 
  • Must develop and maintain the annual budgets as they apply to the SFRC’s services being administered in Gallup at FCDRC.   
  • Ability to establish and monitor production and performance priorities and standards. 
  • Ability to analyze organizational and operational problems and to develop and implement solutions that result in the sound operation of the program. 
  • Participate, coordinate and perform in-service training in areas related to the improvement of service delivery to clients and external?stakeholders 
  • Participate in multiple committee efforts  
  • Responsible for the regulatory compliance and positive audit results of all service lines reviewed by funders, government regulators, and CARF or other accreditation bodies. 
  • Responsible for regulatory compliance of Grants and Contracted services for the FCRC 
  • Ensure the development of program policies and procedures which further the goals and objectives of the agency and the program. 
  • Ensure that an environment is created, which is supportive, safe, and appropriately structured for individuals seeking treatment and looking to enter recovery. 
  • Attend to all state licensing guidelines and respond to requests for information 
  • Other duties as assigned 

  

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:


  • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or related field of study preferred. 
  • At least five (5) years of progressive experience with programming related to services to women, children, and their families. 
  • Strong management skills managing in measurable successes and program growth. 
  • Strong analysis and computer skills. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Professional presentation skills.
Salary Description
$68,302 - $109,283
