Position Overview

GNS Electric is seeking a highly organized and bilingual (English/Spanish) HR & Workforce Coordinator to support daily administrative and workforce operations. This role will play a critical part in coordinating manpower across multiple active job sites, while assisting with HR functions such as onboarding, scheduling, and employee tracking.

Key Responsibilities

Workforce Coordination

  • Assist in coordinating manpower across 30–40 active job sites with varying requirements 
  • Work closely with the General Superintendent to track and manage workforce schedules 
  • Collect and maintain 6-week schedules from field teams 
  • Help organize and maintain scheduling data in Excel 

HR & Administrative Support

  • Support onboarding processes, including documentation and badging 
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings and assist with interview coordination 
  • Maintain accurate employee records and data entry 
  • Assist with performance review tracking and documentation 
  • Provide administrative support to HR and field leadership 

Operational Support

  • Help ensure proper staffing levels for each project based on job requirements 
  • Track workforce allocation and assist in adjusting manpower as needed 
  • Support internal communication between field teams and office staff 

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) — required 
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills 
  • Ability to handle large volumes of information across multiple projects 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills 
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail 

Preferred:

  • Background or interest in Human Resources, Administration, or Workforce Coordination 
  • Experience in construction, electrical, or similar industries 
  • Experience with scheduling, staffing, or coordination roles
