The Opportunity


We are hiring a Sales Representative to drive new business growth while expanding existing client relationships. This is a true “hunter” role designed for individuals who thrive in a performance-driven environment, value autonomy, and want uncapped earning potential.


You will be supported by a proven brand, robust marketing and lead-generation tools, a full operational and technical team, and leadership that understands how to support sales success.


Key Responsibilities


Market Intelligence & Strategy:

  • Stay current on security industry trends, emerging technologies, competitive offerings, and customer needs.
  • Leverage market insights to identify opportunities, refine sales strategies, and position Silver Star as a trusted security partner.

Prospecting & Lead Generation:

  • Identify and qualify prospective clients using tools such as ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, and industry databases.
  • Execute a proactive outreach strategy including cold calling, in-field prospecting, networking events, and digital engagement.
  • Build and manage a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Develop strong relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand client risks, operational challenges, and business objectives.
  • Position yourself as a consultative advisor, not a transactional salesperson.

Sales Execution:

  • Secure and lead sales meetings, discovery sessions, and solution presentations.
  • Tailor proposals and presentations to client-specific needs, pain points, and budgets.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach through contract execution.

Pipeline & CRM Management:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, opportunities, and forecasts in the CRM.
  • Actively manage goals, pipeline health, and performance metrics.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner closely with operations, engineering, R&D, talent acquisition, and executive leadership to ensure solution alignment and delivery excellence.
  • Provide market feedback to support continuous improvement of products, services, and sales processes.

Requirements

  

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven track record of success in a sales or business development role
  • Comfort with technology and selling technical or solution-based offerings
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, LinkedIn, and research tools
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
  • Strong work ethic, resilience, and accountability
  • Positive attitude with a hunter mentality focused on new business development

Preferred

  • Experience in security services, electronic security systems, or technology-driven B2B sales
  • Familiarity with cameras, access control, alarms, AI-enabled systems, or integrated platforms

  Compensation:

  • Base Salary: $50,000 to 80,000 annually
  • Uncapped earning potential tied directly to performance
