JOB OVERVIEW 

The People Operations Coordinator II supports the execution of core People programs with a focus on employee lifecycle operations and total rewards support (Compensation and Benefits). This role is primarily responsible for high-quality execution, coordination, and administrative support, ensuring a seamless associate experience while partnering with the People team to deliver consistent and compliant People practices. This role will work closely with the People Operations team, Compensation & Benefits and broader People team to support processes, maintain data integrity, and assist in key People initiatives.

Requirements

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Execute day-to-day People Operations processes including onboarding, offboarding, job changes, and employee updates in HRIS (Paylocity)
  • Maintain employee data accuracy, documentation, and system integrity across all People systems
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of required People documentation
  • Serve as a reliable point of contact for associate questions, providing timely and professional support
  • Maintain organized and audit-ready employee files and records
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and California employment regulations
  • Provide administrative and coordination support for benefits and compensation programs
  • Identify bottlenecks and concerns with People processes, workflows, and documentation; participate in solutioning ways to improve processes
  • Support compliance activities including training tracking, documentation, and audit preparation which may include generating reports and maintaining People data (headcount, turnover, etc.)
  • Support preparation of materials and data for compensation cycles (e.g., merit, promotions)
  • Support Open Enrollment logistics, communication coordination, and employee follow-up
  • Support benefits processes including enrollments, life event changes, and general associate inquiries
  • Support recruiting efforts by creating and maintaining job postings, templates, and process guides
  • Participate in People team projects and initiatives as needed 

EDUCATION 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field 
  • PHR or equivalent certification or experience preferred

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE 

  • 2–4 years of experience in Human Resources, People Operations, or related field
  • Exposure to benefits and/or compensation processes (support level, not ownership)
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (Paylocity preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage data with accuracy
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong customer service mindset with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)

$73,000.00 - $91,000.00
