Description
POSITION SUMMARY: The Project Manager will oversee all projects across the organization including, but not limited to, budgeting, allocating resources, monitoring progress and transparent communication along the way.
REPORTS TO: Chief Operations Officer
SUPERVISES: N/A
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Determine and define project scope and objectives.
- Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective manner.
- Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements.
- Track projects costs to meet budget.
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis about strategy, adjustment, and progress.
- Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.
- Monitor progress and adjust as needed.
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Regular and timely attendance are an expectation of the position.
- Follow the 5S foundations for deploying lean production tools and processes.
Requirements
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Engineering Degree preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or equivalent, is required.
- Previous project planning and team management experience required.
COMPETENCIES:
- Travel is required approximately 25% of each month.
- Self-starter that takes initiative with high attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organization skills with the ability to lead and motivate.
- Ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines.

- Physical Activity: Talking, hearing, repetitive motion, stooping, crouching, standing, walking, lifting, and climbing stairs.
- Physical Requirements: Sedentary work. Involves sitting most of the time.
- Visual Acuity: ability to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned, including to make general observations of facilities.
