The Manager, Supply Planning position works within the LHL Supply Chain Department of Lyons Magnus, an international food and beverage manufacturer headquartered in Fresno, California. This position is responsible for leading and motivating a team of staff to ensure they are planning and scheduling co-manufacturer network production that promotes efficiency and high service rates. 


Pay Range: $105,000 – $120,000/year + Bonus

Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Location: Hybrid (based in Fresno, CA)

Travel Requirements: 10-15%

Work Environment: Office/Hybrid



Core Responsibilities:

  

  • Creates an environment that promotes the culture and values of the Supply Chain group.
  • Partners with co-manufacturer network to assure finished goods supply and raw material availability.
  • Resolves production and supply chain issues to ensure 99% service rates. 
  • Collaborates with the LHL business team on interpreting demand plan. Creates 12–18-month production plan for co-manufacturer network.
  • Creates supplier S&OP process, scorecards, on-hand and capacity reports, and reports back solutions to leaders.
  • Leads internal and supplier S&OP meetings, Integrated Planning Process, and other planning and production related meetings.
  • Makes schedule changes as needed.
  • Maintains ERP planning and scheduling parameters. 
  • Oversees co-manufacturers finished goods and raw materials inventory position.
  • Measures against metrics and reports on results to ensure budget targets are achieved. 
  • Maintains the demand plan and makes changes when necessary.
  • Maintains safety stock levels for finished goods inventory. 
  • Analyzes finished goods inventory and maintains inventory levels that meet budget and service objectives.
Requirements


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for successful communication between all levels of management, within the organization and externally.
  • Skilled in Microsoft, Excel and Word.
  • Experience with order management or ERP software.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to develop, lead, motivate, and manage a successful team.
  • Ability to work independently, take direction and delegate accordingly.


Required Qualifications:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or 3–5 years of relevant supply chain experience 


Preferred Qualifications:

  •  MBA or other advanced degree 
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
