Ally Psychiatry is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team in Sylacauga, Alabama. This is a full-time, inpatient position based at Coosa Valley Medical Center, offering a supportive environment and meaningful clinical work.

Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams
- Participate in treatment planning and patient care coordination
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Qualifications:
- Board Certified PMHNP
- Active or eligible Alabama license
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in an inpatient setting
Call Schedule:
- Participation in a shared call rotation
What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a team-oriented and patient-focused provider who is committed to delivering high-quality psychiatric care in an inpatient setting. The ideal candidate is adaptable, communicative, and thrives in a collaborative environment
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Must possess a minimum of a Master of Science in Nursing.
- Those six years are composed of a 4-year undergraduate nursing program followed by a 2-year nurse practitioner master's program that includes psychiatric nursing.
- Must have or pursuing a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
Prior experience in providing mental health counseling services within a clinical setting
- Must possess a State License to practice Nursing and it must be in good standing.
- Must possess the knowledge base in health promotion maintenance, advanced pathophysiology, advanced health assessment and pharmacology for advanced practice nurses.
- Must possess the following concepts: individual and family psychotherapy, psychiatric-mental health nursing across the lifespan, advanced assessment in psychiatric-mental health nursing and psychopharmacology.
