POSITION SUMMARY:

The Channel Development Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the operational performance, structure, and integrity of the Dealer network at Yanmar Compact Equipment North America. Reporting to the Director of Channel Development, this individual contributor role will lead the coordination of Dealer onboarding, performance tracking, and administrative processes that support network development and lifecycle management.

This position requires a proactive, organized, and collaborative individual with strong process ownership and attention to detail, capable of working cross-functionally to drive channel initiatives forward.


JOB FUNCTIONS


DEALER LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT:

• Qualify incoming Dealer leads and support network recruitment initiatives.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for onboarding logistics, system setup tracking, and internal coordination.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date Dealer records across internal systems (i.e., CRM, DMS, etc.).

• Support the offboarding and termination process for Dealers, including documentation and internal coordination.


DEALER AGREEMENT & COMPLIANCE ADMINISTRATION:

• Track and maintain executed Dealer agreements, amendments, and expirations.

• Coordinate updates to Dealer PAR (Primary Area of Responsibility) maps and ensure internal records reflect the current network structure.

• Support Dealer compliance tracking (i.e., facility standards, financial audits, etc.) and flag outstanding requirements.


TERRITORY MAPPING & PAR MANAGEMENT:

• Support territory reviews, mapping updates, and documentation of changes.

• Assist in the preparation of proposals related to territory adjustments, network gaps, or consolidation opportunities.


DATA & REPORTING:

• Assist in building and maintaining dashboards or reports using tools like Excel, Salesforce, or Power BI.

• Help analyze trends in Dealer engagement, performance metrics, and onboarding outcomes.


PROCESS & PROJECT COORDINATION:

• Partner with Sales, Finance, Aftermarket, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless Dealer integration and communication.

• Own the administration of the Dealer performance management process, including annual reviews, scorecard tracking, and 


KPI reporting.

• Document, improve, and help scale internal workflows related to channel support and Dealer interaction.

• Assist in the preparation of reports and dashboards for internal leadership or strategic review.


EVENT & MEETING SUPPORT:

• Coordinate logistics and materials for key Dealer meetings, advisory boards, business reviews, or onboarding sessions.

• Support planning and follow-up from Dealer summits or training events.

• Gather feedback post-event and help integrate lessons learned into future planning.

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Communication – Excellent verbal, written and e-communication skills.

• Strong organizational skills

• Initiative – Start and maintain projects with little supervision.

• Strong experience in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce and/or other CRM solution.

• Expertise in market analysis applications

• Problem Solving and collaboration


CRITICAL INTERFACES:

All levels of YANMAR Management, Leadership and other employees, Dealers, colleagues and customers.


JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS in Business, Marketing or a related field.

• Five (5+) years sales, channel, and marketing experience in the construction equipment market, compact construction equipment strongly preferred.

• Advanced Microsoft Office skills

• Ability to travel; domestic and international. Approximately 25% Travel

• This position is full-time and based in Atlanta, GA.

This position offers the potential for discretionary bonus compensation up to 8% of base earnings.
