Description
This position is a full-time, permanent clinical onsite position within Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance in Columbia, TN.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting patients and maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- Remove and apply casts and other appliances as required.
- Clean and sterilize instruments and equipment.
- Stock and maintain cast room and work space.
- Triage cast patients with problems in absence of physician, if necessary.
- Maintain accurate and strict confidentiality of patient information in electronic and manual systems as established by the appropriate protocols, regulations, and policies
- Clean and sanitize exam rooms in between patient visits
- Basic tasks such as removing sutures and applying bandages
- Measure and apply patients with durable medical equipment (DMEs)
- Provide patient education and review home exercise programs
