As a PSR, you'll be the first point of contact for patients—both in person and over the phone—playing a key role in providing exceptional service and ensuring that every visit starts with professionalism, warmth, and efficiency. What You’ll Do:

  • Greet all incoming patients with a friendly, professional attitude
  • Complete new patient registrations and verify patient demographics using EHR systems
  • Confirm insurance eligibility, collect payments, and maintain accurate records
  • Schedule appointments and assist with pre-visit insurance verification
  • Handle incoming calls, route inquiries, and provide helpful information
  • Educate patients about sliding fee scale programs and pharmacy preferences
  • Maintain daily logs of cash and token distribution
  • Collaborate with nursing and medical teams to ensure a smooth patient flow
  • Conduct outreach calls to confirm appointments and welcome new HMO plan members

? What You’ll Need:

  • High School Diploma required
  • Prior experience in healthcare, patient services, or medical office setting preferred
  • Proficiency in EHR systems and computer applications
  • Bilingual in one or more of the languages commonly spoken in the community is a plus
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and maintain professionalism in a busy environment
  • Strong attention to detail, especially in financial and data entry tasks
