Line Supervisor

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

· Communicate goals and expectations to employees

· Oversee and coach employees

· Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance

· Check production output according to specifications

· Submit reports on performance and progress

· Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements

· Trains and manages production employees on the assigned shift

· Oversees the daily workflow and assignments of the production shift

· Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations

· Oversees production operations on assigned shift

· Maintains knowledge of processes and equipment

· Troubleshoots issues that arise

· Notifies maintenance department of equipment problems

· Ensures that employees comply with applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures

· Ensures paperwork is completed correctly

· Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

· Required Education: 

o High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Minimum Years of Experience: 

o Prior exceptional work experience with the company preferred

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

· Knowledge

o Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

o Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production operations and machinery.

· Skills & Abilities

o Excellent supervisory and leadership skills.

o Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

o Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

o Superb time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

· Walking

o Up to 8 hours a day

· Standing

o Up to 8 hours a day

· Lifting

o Ability to 75lbs from floor to waist

o Lifting overhead with 25lbs

· Work Environment

o Warehouse/Plant environment

o Typically, 6:30a – 3p Monday – Friday (occasional weekend)

o Temperature controlled

· Equipment

o Computer/Various Technology
