Description
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Night Shop Supervisor is fully responsible for executing and managing all second shift operations and personnel to produce quality components in a timely manner.
- Manage staff, delegate work, track attendance and work hours, as well as communicate any necessary disciplinary action.
- Oversee the scheduling of workforce to meet project deadlines.
- Track and maintain job progress reports and manage resources.
- Liaison with engineering and project management departments as needed to successfully complete jobs in a timely manner.
- Manage the development and adherence to work instructions.
- Continuously improve all plant processes.
- Promote positive customer and employee relations.
- Ensure the quality of completed work within the plant.
- Order, track and manage raw materials and supplies
- Participate as necessary in all meetings, training events and seminars.
- Any other duties assigned by Plant Manager as needed.
Requirements
- Proven supervisory experience
- Must have experience in machine assembly or tool building, preferably automated assembly machines.
- Proven ability to manage schedules and timelines.
- Above average computer skills including experience with Microsoft Excel.
4:00 p.m. – 2:30 a.m. Monday – Friday, with Saturdays
50 - 56 hours per week on average.
