Description

Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens – Escondido is hiring Seasonal Dishwashers for the summer season (May–August). If you’re reliable, hardworking, and thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment, this is a great opportunity to join a high-energy team and gain experience in a well-known craft brewery restaurant.


As a Seasonal Dishwasher, you play a critical role in keeping the kitchen running smoothly by ensuring all dishes, glassware, and equipment are clean, sanitized, and ready for service. This is a tip-eligible position, offering the opportunity to contribute to both daily operations and special events.


What You’ll Do

  • Operate commercial dishwashing equipment and/or hand-washing stations efficiently
  • Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment
  • Maintain a steady flow of clean items to support kitchen and bar operations
  • Assist with event support and large-volume dishwashing needs
  • Remove trash and recycling, supporting sustainability and cleanliness standards
  • Complete opening and closing duties, ensuring proper kitchen organization
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines
  • Identify and report equipment issues or supply shortages
  • Maintain a clean, organized dish area and workspace
  • Support team members and contribute to a positive, respectful work environment
Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • 1+ year of experience in a dishwasher, steward, or kitchen support role (high-volume restaurant preferred)
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment
  • Team player with strong communication skills
  • California Food Handler Card (required or ability to obtain)
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move equipment or supplies
  • Reliable transportation and flexible availability (including weekends and holidays)
