Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history taking and physical examinations
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic health conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state and institutional regulations
- Educate patients and their families on health management, preventive care, and treatment options
- Document patient encounters accurately and maintain comprehensive medical records
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research activities
- Stay current with medical advancements and maintain licensure and certification
Skills and Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (NP) or Physician Assistant Studies (PA)
- Valid licensure and certification as an Advanced Practice Practitioner
- Proven experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a specialty area
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
- Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards
