General Labor Associate - GMR
Description

Position Purpose:  This general labor position is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and well-maintained outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, is able to work independently, and is comfortable performing physically demanding tasks. 


Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Accurately document all work performed on work orders. 
  • Coordinate and participate in the completion of projects within established bid hours, scope, and specifications. 
  • Communicate job progress and updates to customers, as applicable. 
  • Maintain detailed records of materials used, labor performed, project delays, daily progress, purchased or returned materials, and weather conditions. 
  • Ensure job site safety and compliance with all site-specific rules and regulations. 
  • Perform routine, ongoing, and preventive maintenance tasks as assigned. 
  • Order or purchase additional materials as needed to complete assigned projects. 
  • Review completed projects to verify work quality, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. 
  • Complete daily timesheets and submit them promptly to the Business Office. 
  • Service pet waste stations by replacing waste bags and emptying disposal containers on a routine basis. 
  • Collect and remove bagged waste and bulk trash to designated disposal locations. 
  • Maintain property grounds by removing litter and debris throughout the site. 
  • Operate equipment, including pressure washers, to clean walkways, fences, buildings, signage, and other property features as needed. 
  • Assist with the refurbishment, installation, and replacement of property management, parking, and directional signage. 
  • Perform general labor and other hands-on tasks as assigned to support overall property maintenance and operations.
Requirements

Position Requirements:

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school training preferred. 
  • Minimum of one year of general maintenance experience, preferably within the property management industry. 
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. 
  • Stable work history and professional appearance required. 
  • Ability to work safely around cleaning agents and chemicals, including ammonia and bleach. 
  • Experience safely towing and maneuvering a small utility trailer preferred. 
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions on a routine basis.
