POSITION SUMMARY

The Electrode Implant Specialist is responsible for supporting the successful implantation and optimization of the WiSE™ Leadless Endocardial Pacing System electrode procedure through direct procedural support, physician collaboration, case execution, and field training support. This role serves as a highly specialized clinical and technical expert focused on electrode implantation workflows, procedural efficiency, patient outcomes, and field capability development.

The Electrode Implant Specialist partners closely with physicians, Field Clinical Specialists (FCS), Territory Managers (TM), Training & Education, and Commercial Leadership to ensure consistent execution of best practices and scalable procedural excellence across the organization.


  

PRIMARY RESPONSABILITIES

Electrode Procedure Support & Execution

  • Provide expert procedural support during WiSE™ Leadless Endocardial Pacing System electrode implantation cases.
  • Partner directly with implanting physicians to optimize electrode placement strategy and procedural workflow.
  • Assist with troubleshooting complex implant scenarios and procedural challenges in real time.
  • Support achievement of successful LV endocardial pacing outcomes and overall procedural success.
  • Ensure adherence to company-approved procedural protocols and clinical best practices.
  • Participate in pre-case planning and post-case procedural reviews.

Physician Partnership & Education

  • Build strong collaborative relationships with implanting electrophysiologists and hospital staff.
  • Support physician education related to electrode implant techniques, procedural efficiency, and best practices.
  • Assist in delivering case-based learning and procedural feedback to physicians and internal field teams.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve physician confidence, adoption, and procedural consistency.

Training & Field Capability Development

  • Support certification and development of Territory Managers and Field Clinical   Specialists in electrode-related competencies.
  • Participate in hands-on field training activities and procedural education programs.
  • Reinforce standardized implant workflows and technical proficiency across the commercial organization.
  • Assist Training & Education leadership with identification and dissemination of key procedural learnings.

Clinical Outcomes & Continuous Improvement

  • Support collection and communication of procedural insights, implant outcomes, and field learnings.
  • Participate in internal case review discussions focused on optimization and continuous improvement.
  • Help identify trends related to procedural success, workflow inefficiencies, and training opportunities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve scalability, reproducibility, and patient outcomes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Commercial, Clinical, Marketing, and Training teams to support therapy adoption and procedural excellence.
  • Provide field feedback to leadership regarding physician needs, workflow barriers, and educational opportunities.
  • Support strategic accounts and high-priority implant centers as needed.
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism, compliance, and customer engagement.

  

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent clinical experience required.
  • Experience supporting Leadless Pacing (Micra or Aveir), EP mapping, Structural Heart (Watchman or Amulet), advanced cardiac rhythm management procedures (EV ICD or Sub-Q ICD), or related electrophysiology procedures preferred.
  • Strong understanding of electrophysiology procedures, cardiac implant workflows, and cardiac imaging modalities including ICE and fluoroscopy.
  • Excellen  communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively (approximately 75%) in support of procedural coverage, physician training, and field education activities.

Physical Requirements

  • This position requires approximately 75% travel, including frequent overnight and weekend travel based on procedural and customer support needs.
  • Ability to provide on-site support for implant procedures, physician training, and field education activities across assigned geographies.
  • Flexibility to travel on short notice to support high-priority cases, strategic accounts, and procedural coverage needs.
  • Required to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Subject to extended periods of sitting and/or standing, vision to monitor, and moderate noise levels.  

Salary Range

$160,000 - $165,000*

*Base pay is one part of your total compensation. The salary offered will depend on several factors, including, but not limited to your experience, knowledge, skills, location, internal equity, and market alignment. Addition compensation may include bonuses and equity, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
