Exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced medical team within a growing federally qualified community health center. HealthFirst Family Care Center, Inc. “The Heart of Our Community” provides comprehensive services including adult/pediatric medical care, health education, health assessment and screenings, gynecology, cardiology, behavioral health, substance use treatment, and adult/pediatric dental care.
Housekeeper Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Facilities Director, the Housekeeper ensures proper cleanliness, sterilization and appearance of the interior of the building. The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all the health center exam rooms, offices, restrooms and common areas.
Pay Range: $18.00 – $20.68 per hour*
*The pay range represents HealthFirst’s good faith estimate for this role at the time of posting, in compliance with applicable laws. Final compensation will be determined based on several factors such as relevant experience, education, skills, internal equity, market conditions, and budget considerations. Candidates with less direct experience may be placed at the lower end of the range, while those with more significant or specialized experience may be considered at the higher end.
Required Qualifications:
- Must submit a CORI release form and demonstrate proof of being free from disqualifying information
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bilingual (English, Spanish/Portuguese) preferred
- Must be able to push, pull, and lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Strong understanding and experience regarding PPE use and disposal
- Cleaning experience in various conditions, preferably a healthcare setting
- Experience with common housekeeping equipment such as vacuum, cleaners, mops, etc.
- Willingness to adhere to OSHA, HIPPA, DPH and established HealthFirst policies and procedure

- Projects positive attitude about the department and the health center. Strong understanding of customer service principles as it relates to the healthcare environment
- Ability to maintain an organized work area and work collaboratively as a member of a team
- Good communication with peers to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently

- High standard of cleanliness and detail-oriented
