Description

Hill Idealease specializes in full-service leasing and dedicated maintenance of International class 6, 7, and 8 trucks as well as trailers. We also provide short and long-term rental solutions to companies large and small.  

Since 1997, Hill Idealease has helped businesses manage their transportation needs with a range of services including commercial rental, full-service leasing, dedicated maintenance, equipment specification, and safety & compliance training.  

Hill Idealease is owned by the Hill Family who also own Hill International Trucks, LLC - an International truck franchise with five sales and service locations in Ohio and Pennsylvania. 


Currently operating our Lease & Rental Company with 5 convenient locations in:East Liverpool | Washington | Martins Ferry | Canton | New Philadelphia


Primary Responsibilities

1.  Generate a minimum 8% Net Profit in the Full-Service Lease and Rental portfolio.

2. Drive Profitable Growth in accordance with growth forecasts and plans. 

3.  Develop and implement an annual business plan including sales forecasts, budgets and quarterly

  projections. 

4.  Develop and implement operating policies and procedures in conformance with company objectives. 

5.  Maintain all lease and rental facilities, vehicles, signage and any other company assets in accordance with Idealease Brand Standards. 

6.  Recruit and hire employees as business levels dictate. 

7.  Safeguard company assets by maintaining strong internal controls. 

8.  Review all company financial and operating statements and initiate corrective action for improvement in operations. 

9.  Promote an atmosphere of cooperation, teamwork and good will with all employees within  Idealease and the dealership. 

10. Reinforce and mandate the Idealease Core Values of Expertise, Responsiveness, and Stability

11. Monitor and measure Overhead per Unit (OPU) and keep below $3000. 

  

Sales and Performance

1.  Supervise and motivate sales personnel to secure new business. 

2.  Establish an annual marketing plan and a go-to-market strategy in conformance with the annual business plan and budget. 

3.  Establish a rating policy and procedure for sales personnel to utilize when proposing new Idealease business.

4.  Establish goals and quotas for all sales personnel, reviewing on a regular basis. 

5.  Approve any new contracted business.

6.  Assist in lease sales production as required with key accounts. 

7.  Communicate regularly with large volume lease and rental customers.

8. Manage customer conflicts so Account Manager does not lose standing with customer.


Maintenance

1.  Supervise and motivate the Idealease Service Manager (ISM), focusing on cost controls and customer satisfaction. Maintenance costs for FSL and Rental should be less than 20% of revenue.

2.  Develop a full understanding of all maintenance resources available on the Idealease Resource 

 Center. 

3.  Review the manpower needs and scheduling with the ISM on a regular basis. 

4.  Monitor inventories of parts, tires, lubricants and fuel to ensure all items are accounted for correctly and within forecasted and budgeted levels.

5.  Monitor warranty programs and warranty recovery.

6.  Review monthly financial, income statements and reports with the Idealease Service Manager.  

7.  Develop and initiate corrective actions as necessary. 

8.  Monitor and review customer service levels on a continual basis with the ISM.

Requirements

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 

  • 10+ years of progressively responsible experience for a major company or division of a large corporation.  
  • Candidate should have experience in partnering with an executive team and have a high level of written and oral communication skills. 
  • Effective written, verbal and telephone communication skills, proficient PC skills and a commitment to customer service excellence are an absolute must. 
  • Strong attention to detail, especially regarding time management and organization.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products and Windows-based computer systems.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while dealing directly with multiple customers/partners daily. 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE     

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or six to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT   

  • This job primarily operates in a professional dealership office environment.   
  • Requires sitting for long periods. 
  • Will be expected to travel as needed to company locations. 
  • Requires bending/stooping/kneeling/crouching/reaching for short periods. 
  • Requires occasional lifting of 5 to 20 pounds. 
  • Requires accurate, knowledgeable detailed work. 
  • Some weekend and evening work may be required; 20 to 30% travel is required.  
  • Occasionally exposed to engine exhaust fumes. 
  • Occasionally exposed to loud noise. 
  • Works overtime as required. 
  • Minimal exposure to weather   

OTHER

  • Valid Driver's License with clean driving record required.
  • Ability to pass a background check required.
  • Ability to pass a drug test required.
