Elevator Cab Builder
Residential Elevators is actively seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Elevator Cab Builder to join our dynamic team. As a vital contributor to our manufacturing process, you will be responsible for constructing high-quality, custom elevator cabs that adhere to our strict standards for safety, durability, and aesthetic appeal. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in fabrication, woodworking, metalwork, or elevator construction who are dedicated to craftsmanship and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, fabricate, and install custom elevator cabs in accordance with design specifications and safety standards
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure precise construction
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials such as wood, metal, and composite components
- Ensure all components are properly fitted, aligned, and finished to meet quality standards
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve fabrication or assembly issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies during fabrication and assembly processes
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in fabrication, woodworking, metalworking, or elevator construction
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
- Knowledge of safety standards and procedures related to manufacturing and construction
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a strong work ethic
