Job Summary:

 The Crane A/D Operator is responsible for the execution of crane assembly, disassembly, and mobilization processes to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. This role requires technical expertise and strict adherence to safety protocols.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute assembly and disassembly for cranes based on project specifications and site conditions.
  • Comply with OSHA, ANSI, and other relevant safety standards.
  • Conduct pre-assembly site inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Inspect cranes, components, and lifting equipment for functionality and safety before and after assembly.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues during crane setup or removal and implement corrective actions.
  • Identify and report mechanical issues or safety hazards promptly.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technical teams to resolve complex challenges.
  • Accomplish detailed records of assembly/disassembly activities, inspections, and safety checks.
  • Prepare and submit reports on project progress, incidents, and equipment performance.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area around crane equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in crane assembly/disassembly or heavy equipment operations.

 Certifications:

  • Crane Operator Certification (e.g., NCCCO or equivalent).

 Skills:

  • Strong understanding of crane types, components, and assembly procedures.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, load charts, and engineering plans.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
  • Physically capable of climbing, lifting, and performing hands-on inspections.
  • Primarily onsite at construction or industrial project locations.
  • May involve extended hours and travel based on project needs.
