Hyundai of Tacoma is hiring Automotive Technicians with paid training and the chance to build real skills in a fast-paced, professional service environment.


This role is ideal for individuals who are reliable, mechanically inclined, and ready to learn in a structured shop setting where effort and consistency are valued. It is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, wants to learn automotive repair skills, and is looking for an opportunity to grow within a dealership environment. 


What You’ll Do

  • Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and basic maintenance 
  • Complete vehicle inspections and document findings 
  • Assist experienced technicians with repairs and diagnostics 
  • Learn shop processes, tools, and repair procedures 
  • Support the service team in a fast-paced environment 
  • Build skills that lead into advanced technician roles

Requirements

 

  • ASE certifications are a plus but not required 
  • Must be able to work well with others within a team concept and environment.
  • Candidates must have excellent work ethics, communication skills and the ability to execute maintenance and repair processes that meet time expectations to be successful.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable to drive.
  • Must be willing to undergo a background check and illegal drug screening.
