We are looking to hire a Patient Care Coordinator to join our Patient Services team. As a member of our patient care team, you will be responsible for taking all incoming calls from patients interested in learning more about our services, scheduling, or answering questions. You will play a very important role in the lives of our patients. You will need to demonstrate your ability to retain and utilize a vast amount of information that is key to the decision-making process for where the patients will decide to go for their eye care needs.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE MUST:
- Experience in medical, executive, or luxury sales is a plus
- Be a self-starter, articulate, a quick thinker, and confident
- Possess strong listening and presentation skills
- Be a team player who works well with others and individually
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Have excellent customer service skills and a caring personality
- Be positive, self-motivated, and high energy
- Have a strong ability and willingness to learn medical procedures, terminology, electronic medical records software
- Have excellent computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft software including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong communication, both written and verbal

- Exceptional interpersonal and rapport building skills
- A patient and empathetic attitude
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments
- Troubleshooting skills, either basic or advanced, depending on the role and industry
- Phone skills, including familiarity with complex or multi-line phone systems
- De-escalate situations involving dissatisfied patients, offering patient assistance and support with compassion.

Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm; Friday 8:00am - 2:00pm
