If you have a passion for food and service, this role could be a great fit for you! This position is a Full-Time opening that requires open availability for flexible scheduling. Our store is open from 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM, 7 days a week and is CLOSED for all major holidays! 


Job Summary

Responsible for the preparation, assembly, garnishing, and packaging of various dishes within the catering department. Also responsible for occasional offsite catering support for events.


Responsibilities

  • Maintains cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the dining room and surrounding area. 
  • Complies with all portion sizes, quality, ingredient standards, department rules, policies and procedures.
  • Follows recipe specifications to prepare menu items in accordance with pre-determined costs.
  • Prepares items for cooking by peeling, paring, coring, portioning, washing, sectioning, zesting, cutting, or scoring.
  • Covers, dates and neatly stores and rotates all products.
  • Provides excellent customer service to our banquet guests
  • Maintains buffet as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions

Works in a non-smoking, normal store environment where there is not physical discomfort due to temperature, dust, noise, etc. Off-site conditions vary by location, may work in heat, cold, damp, outdoor conditions

Requirements

Education and Experience

  • High School education or equivalent is required
  • Previous restaurant, hospitality, or food service experience is strongly preferred
