The Dietary Aide will:
- Follow department procedure for tray assembly.
- Utilize weights and measures to assure proper portioning.
- Assist on tray line and deliver trays to patients.
- Follow all sanitation and food safety guidelines.
- Wash dishes.
- Coordinate area to ensure timeliness of duties.
- Operate cash register when working in the cafeteria.
- Assist in the training of new staff members.
- Attend department specific in-service programs and mandatory hospital wide programs.
This position will work every other weekend and rotating holidays. Hours 6:00am - 2:30pm, every other weekend 6:30am - 10:30am.
- Ability to read, write and speak in English
- Basic computer proficiency
Salary Range: The base rate for this position is $18.50 - $22.00 per hour. The hourly range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the position. The rate for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate.
