The Dietary Aide will:

• Follow department procedure for tray assembly.
• Utilize weights and measures to assure proper portioning. 
• Assist on tray line and deliver trays to patients. 
• Follow all sanitation and food safety guidelines. 
• Wash dishes.
• Coordinate area to ensure timeliness of duties. 
• Operate cash register when working in the cafeteria. 
• Assist in the training of new staff members. 
• Attend department specific in-service programs and mandatory hospital wide programs.

This position will work every other weekend and rotating holidays. Hours 6:00am - 2:30pm, every other weekend 6:30am - 10:30am.

• Ability to read, write and speak in English
• Basic computer proficiency

Salary Range: The base rate for this position is $18.50 - $22.00 per hour. The hourly range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the position. The rate for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate.
