2nd Shift Order Selector
Description

Crown Distributors is hiring 2nd Shift Warehouse Order Selectors at our Topeka warehouse. No prior warehouse experience required. If you can show up on time and do physical work for a full shift, we will teach you the rest.


The shift runs Sunday through Thursday, 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with Friday and Saturday off every week. Your mornings are yours. Starting pay is $19.00 to $20.75 per hour, based on experience.


Responsibilities:

  • Pick Customer Orders: Use our voice-directed pick system with a forearm-mounted iPhone for navigation and a hand-mounted scanner for UPC verification.
  • Build Stable Pallets: Construct pallets that ride safely on the truck and arrive at the customer undamaged.
  • Wrap and Stage: Wrap completed pallets and stage them in the outbound trucking area.
  • Operate Equipment: Run electric pallet jacks; earn forklift certification (free, in-house, on the clock) once you are ready.
  • Maintain a Safe Work Area: Follow all safety protocols and keep your area clean.
  • Show Up On Time: The team depends on each other. Being reliable matters more to us than prior warehouse experience.

Requirements
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Reliable transportation to Topeka, KS
  • Able to be on your feet and walking for 8 to 9 hours per shift
  • Able to lift up to 30 lbs regularly and manage heavier items, including kegs up to 160 lbs 
  • Willing to pass an MVR and criminal background check, plus a pre-employment physical and drug screen
