Logistics Coordinator
Description

Lynch Truck Center is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our team! In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating the delivery and pickup of vehicles, as well as transportation needs for both the Sales and Service Departments. The Logistics Coordinator must ensure compliance with DOT standards for all drivers and vehicles, and a smooth transition from the Lynch Team to the customer.


Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm

Requirements
  • A CDL license is preferred, or the ability to obtain a CDL license
  • Must have an in-depth understanding of DOT requirements 
  • Ability to operate a commercial vehicle
  • Ability to read maps proficiently
  • Basic computer skills

Responsibilities

  • Working with both the Sales and Service Department, oversee the delivery/pick up of vehicles and other transportation needs
  • Maintain that all drivers' licensing is current and in compliance with requirements for operation of specific vehicles
  • Handle accident reports, driving evaluations, and vehicle safety
  • Maintain fleet of company owned vehicles
  • Schedule/make travel arrangements for drivers traveling to customers out of state
  • Oversee scheduling of approximately 20 drivers
  • Work with HR to hire and maintain employees
  • Maintain professional relationships with clients
