Lamborghini Dallas is looking for a customer focused Parts Manager that strives to return a significant profit on dealer capital invested in parts inventory. The Parts Manager is someone who accomplishes objectives by using proper purchasing procedures, inventory control, staff utilization, security, pricing, merchandising, displaying and advertising.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise the parts department, setting performance standards, ensuring accountability, and driving achievement of departmental goals.
  • Hire, train, coach, and evaluate parts department staff while fostering a high-performance and customer-focused team culture.
  • Develop annual budgets, forecast departmental goals, and implement sales and promotional strategies to drive profitability.
  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stocking, turnover optimization, and minimizing obsolescence.
  • Establish pricing strategies and inventory levels to ensure profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Manage wholesale and retail parts operations, including outside sales, telemarketing, and internal dealership support.
  • Partner with service and body shop departments to ensure timely parts availability and efficient repair turnaround.
  • Monitor financial performance, including sales, expenses, margins, payroll, and monthly operational reports, to achieve profit objectives.
  • Ensure accurate processing of parts orders, shipping, receiving, and documentation for full manufacturer credit recovery.
  • Enforce dealership policies, workplace standards, safety procedures, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (including OSHA requirements).
  • Handle customer concerns and resolve issues in accordance with dealership guidelines to maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate reporting systems, including lost sales tracking, inventory metrics, and productivity analysis.
  • Manage administrative operations, including paperwork flow, accounting accuracy, and collections support for past-due accounts.
  • Coordinate department meetings, monitor performance metrics, and implement process improvements for operational efficiency.
  • Ensure cleanliness, organization, and professional standards across the parts department.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • CDK and Axcessa experience preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Salary Description
$100,000 to $145,000 a year DOE
