Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support team members during assigned shifts
- Deliver and model outstanding customer service and resolve basic customer concerns
- Operate and oversee cash registers, including cash handling, reconciliation, and shift reports
- Promote and encourage customer enrollment in the Gas N Wash rewards/loyalty program
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout assigned shift
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Assist with training new team members and provide ongoing support
- Communicate important updates to management and team members
Requirements
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- 2+ year of retail, convenience store, or customer service experience
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
- Strong communication and team leadership skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, responsible, and team-oriented
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for entire shift
- Ability to frequently lift between 5 to 20 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to perform repeated bending, kneeling, twisting and overhead reaching
- Ability to work in intermittent temperature, e.g., outside by the pumps and in the cooler
